Powell Split frames for stingless bees
thingiverse
This can be used for the species of stingless bee with delicate young and small nest volume, requiring precision in its design. The hive is clipped together and carefully placed inside your stingless bee hive. Please note that the internal dimensions of the hive box used are: 190mm long, 110mm wide, and 100mm deep. If you create your hive exactly to these measurements, a bee space will be created around your split frame, making it easy to remove your halves from the hive. Notes for the printer: It is recommended that the walls be printed from high-quality ABS or PLA materials, while the brood wall should be printed from flexible Nylon. A very finely tuned printer is required for this job; do not attempt to print this on a printer if you are still in the process of calibrating it. Two sets of each plan will be needed to create a complete hive: two walls and two brood boxes. For a closer look at what these bees do, follow this YouTube link: https://youtu.be/bBCPAq9y0Cs
