This 3mm LED mount facilitates Persistence of Vision (POV) systems, housing 16 tightly packed LEDs. To achieve this, part of the bottom epoxy lip is sanded away. The recessed design ensures that LEDs can be flush against the mount, all at the same level. A Parallax Propeller chip controls the LEDs for optimal POV performance.
