POV Binary Watch w/ flashlight
thingiverse
Small digital watch with three operational modes: * **POV clock**: A display of time utilizing the persistence of vision phenomenon. Learn more about this concept at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persistence_of_vision. * **Binary clock**: A binary representation of time, where hours are displayed on one row and minutes on two additional rows. This model excludes seconds. Explore the basics of a binary clock at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binary_clock. * **Flashlight mode**: All LEDs are activated to serve as a small flashlight. Two versions of the watch case have been created; however, neither meets expectations, prompting a redesign. Initially, the goal was to design the case compatible with a CLASP watchband, which had also been revised. Unfortunately, the printed product did not satisfy expectations, potentially due to its rigidity in ABS plastic. Circuitry for debugging is currently situated on a breadboard. The board layout has been completed; unfortunately, during installation, the controller was accidentally damaged, leaving no time for repair. Consequently, all images and videos featuring the breadboard remain unpublished. Instructions for pricing and additional information can be found elsewhere. Feel free to inquire about any other matters. The project remains under development; updates will follow soon.
