Pouring paint

Pouring paint

Idea has been percolating in my mind since I first discovered 3D printers! When I stumbled upon this project, I immediately asked him to separate the paint from the pot, which he did with lightning speed, but unfortunately, it was missing the STL file, so I couldn't print it. Designing my own under Solidworks proved to be a far more daunting task than navigating different file converters. Honestly, I wasn't that invested in it. But here we are! Now at 11, I've managed to obtain a few orange rings from an adjacent lab. To achieve this, I simply immersed them in acetone vapour for 40 minutes. Surprisingly, this method only works with ABS, and I'm still searching for an easy way to do it with PLA. I was asked to create one with a wider base and slightly higher, as he found that his previous print snapped off when printing or removing the support. This is often referred to as the "wider paint". Enjoy your creations and feel free to share them!
