Pottery Bat Adapter for 6 inch Ceramic Tiles

Ceramic tiles are much cheaper than pottery bats. This adapter allows you to use 6 inch tiles on a pottery wheel. Us a dab of clay to secure your tile to the wheel inside this frame. The dowel holes are 3/8" and 10 inches apart. You will want a snug fit to the tile so it doesn't wobble, or else you won't be able to center your clay. I recommend first just printing the first layer then test fitting to your wheel and tile. Adjust your horizontal expansions setting as needed to have a snug fit. No supports are needed. Print with your preferred settings. I found a rough .28 layer height worked fine. Be aware you if you are using an ender 3, the outside dimensions are 206.6 square. You may need to adjust your printers print space, or skirt settings to fit it on your build plate.
