A bracket designed for mounting potentiometers is being created for my FRC Team 3597. The importance of sensors cannot be overstated!!!!!! They should be used at all costs. This bracket was built to make that possible. Simply solder a 3-wire cable (provided in the Kit of Parts) onto a generic 10k potentiometer like this one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/5-x-B10K-10K-OHM-Linear-Taper-Rotary-Potentiometers-10KB-POT-USA-SELLER/323644411080?hash=item4b5ab5ccc8:g:RqAAAOSw9xJcMQ2a&frcectupt=tru The holes are meant for tapping into 1/4-20. Pick and choose which ones will be necessary for the position of the pot.
