Potentiometer Knob 09

Potentiometer Knob 09

thingiverse

I needed a simple knob and no time to get to an electronics store, so here is my 3D print design. The knob is designed to fit a 6mm potentiometer shaft. The knob has a 16mm base diameter and has a height of 11.5mm, not including the indicator marking. The knob is a push fit onto a 6mm shaft. To make the print result more interesting, I do a filament colour swap near the end so that the raised marker is printed in another colour to make it more visible. The filament colour swap is setup in your slicer software. Setting up the filament colour is easy in PrusaSlicer, other slicers probably, too. My print is made in PETG 1.75mm eSUN Black and Silver filaments, with 0.2mm layer height and 15% infill on a PRUSA I3 MK3S printer. No supports required. I hope that you can find this print useful, too. Remember to leave me some feedback or even a tip to keep me enthused to make more of these drawings.
