Potato Parts
thingiverse
I figure this is a 3D printer kit, technically. I designed these parts for my printer built from recycled laser printer components (Primarily 6mm rods). Every part mounts to wooden planks so you can utilize any lengths you salvage while recycling with ease. Simply adjust the bushing print size to fit whatever size of rods you're using. The X-axis parts are probably the most intriguing for reuse. The rods are held in parallel and carry a carriage with V-grooves cradling printed bushings aligned with the rods. The bushings are secured in place with zip ties so you can swap them out for a different-sized rod without reprinting the entire X-carriage, or use two different-sized rods.
