I like to search for interesting utilities in kitchen drawers. So I found a POTATO FORK - which allows you to spear a potato easily and hold it safely - for a reverse engineering.I didn't want to to destroy the original product and so I made my own thoughts, to find three solutions, for fastening the components to a watertight assembly. For sure there are only three solutions of many other possibilities. All components are made of stainless steel, except for the black plastic cap.Model C.1 has a sealing, made of silicone, which is liquid before filling into the sleeve and between the three skewers. This sealing should curing after a more or less short time.Note:The skewers have to be assembled - to avoid a radial movement - before the rectangular bending has been done. Please tell me your favourite version of my three concepts or show me an improved design, created by you.So I'm very much looking forward to seeing other results of this project.Thank you for attention! The model is available in following data formats:STEP files (.stp) of the assembly and STL file (.stl) of the plastic cap.Native files (.prt) and (.asm), in a (.7z) folder, for users of »PTC Creo Parametric 2.0«
