This is a collection of 16 pieces of artfully crafted urns, vases, and flowerpots. Every mesh is carefully UV unwrapped, but I haven't included any textures to add an extra layer of creativity. Rendering was done using Cycles with a simple yet effective BSDF shader. If you create something truly amazing with it, please let me know - I'd love to see your art in action! A vase is essentially an open container that can be crafted from various materials such as ceramics, glass, non-rusting metals like aluminum, brass, bronze, or stainless steel. Wood has also been used to make vases by employing tree species that naturally resist decay, like teak, or by applying a protective coating to conventional wood or plastic. Vases are often decorated and serve as a beautiful way to display cut flowers. They come in different sizes to accommodate whatever flower it is holding or keeping in place. Vases generally share a similar shape with the foot or base being bulbous, flat, carinate, or another unique design. The body forms the main portion of the piece, while some vases have a shoulder where the body curves inward, a neck that gives height, and a lip where the vase flares back out at the top. Some vases are also equipped with handles. Over time, various styles and types of vases have been developed around the world in different cultures and periods, such as Chinese ceramics and Native American pottery. In ancient Greece, vase-painting was the traditional term covering the fine painted pottery often featuring scenes from Greek mythology. These pieces may be referred to as vases regardless of their shape; most were used for holding or serving liquids, and many would more naturally be called cups, jugs, and so on. In 2003, Grayson Perry won the Turner Prize for his ceramics, typically in vase form. Source: wikipedia
