Pot or can lid - parameterised

Pot or can lid - parameterised

thingiverse

To help reduce waste we often need to save unfinished pots of things like yoghurt or cream and save half finished cans of soft drink or beer in the fridge for the next day. The better things like this are airtight the longer they will stay fresh and for drinks fizzy hence reduce waste. I designed a lid using Autodesk Fusion 360 first for cans then found we needed them for a range of plastic pots. So I changed the design and parameterised it. If you need a new size accurately measure the size of the pot and add 1 to 1.5mm (1mm for cans and 1.5mm for plastic pots. Then in Fusion change parameter PotSize (see image) accordingly. To change the text of the lid you will need to edit the last sketch in Fusion and change the text. Finally export to your 3D printer. You will need to use a flexible filament like TPU. Have fun.
