Pot Holder Loom
thingiverse
To create a small square loom (10cm), assemble four straight pieces and four corner pieces by connecting their ends into each other's slots. For a larger loom (20cm), use eight straight pieces, four corners, and four straight_join pieces, linking the straight pieces in pairs with straight_join pieces before attaching to corners. Bulky yarn is ideal for weaving on these looms, but lighter yarn can be used if doubled. Begin by wrapping the end of the yarn around a corner piece and then around opposite hooks. No need to pull too tight as it may distort your loom. Next, weave using the remaining yarn, starting with one side hook, going over/under warp threads alternatively before moving to the next hook in the other direction. This simple process forms the foundation of your woven pot-holder or blanket square. Consider crafting for charity with the 20cm loom size.
