Pot Handle

A worn-out pot needing new handles provided an opportunity to showcase my industrial design skills, encompassing problem identification, design, modeling, and production. By carefully studying the handle attachment points, I crafted functional and ergonomic solutions for this project. Leveraging 3D printing technology, I swiftly and cost-effectively produced handles that seamlessly matched the existing lid knob. Post-printing, the handles underwent vapor smoothing to achieve a glossy finish similar to injection-molded parts. For those looking to replicate this process with their own pot repairs, Solidworks can aid in customizing dimensions, while selecting high-melting point plastics like ABS or Nylon is crucial for successful printing.
