Posthetic leg for stork
thingiverse
We're developing a prosthetic leg designed specifically for storks. The process begins by printing the component pieces, which are then carefully padded and assembled together using screws. This innovative solution was created to support young stork patients, weighing around 2.5 kilograms, who require this type of assistance due to necrosis in their existing legs, necessitating their eventual removal. Our production process involves printing two versions: V2_2 and V4_1. These components are printed using a Makerbot Replicator 2, with a precise layer height of 0.3 millimeters. This collaborative project was made possible through our partnership with Baltic3d.eu.
