Postcard Sized Boomerang

A long time ago, there was a challenge among German boomerang throwers to make a postcard-sized boomerang that actually works. So here is my entry, although I am about 25 years late. It fits into the 148 mm x 105 mm size of a DIN A6 postcard (the background in the picture is a A4 sheet of paper folded twice, since I didn't have any postcard handy). Printed in PLA with .12 mm layers, 25% infill, 5 perimeters and solid wingtips, it weighs 8 grams, takes a relatively hard throw, and will do a nice 20 meter circle. The solid wingtips were created using infill modifiers in PrusaSlicer. If you can, I recommend going larger though, it will be more forgiving and easier to throw at, say, 200 mm wingspan. *Edit:* I added a "flared" version which I created as an attempt to improve spin retention for very small prints of this boomerang. It has slightly larger wingtips, adding more mass there for rotational inertia, as well as slightly shallower leading edges which might reduce drag.
