Post printing automatic shutdown CR-10s PRO et V2 and maybe others Creality printers
thingiverse
I was tired of my printer staying on all night and/or day after I finished printing, consuming electricity and wearing down the hardware for nothing. I tried in vain to do it by gcode. I then thought of a mechanical solution driven by the end of print gcode. I'm on Tinymachines firmware. My thanks to Isac Johansson for his CR-10S Pro v2 cable chain with 90 degree brackets which I used then modified to make my links. REMEMBER TO LOWER THE SWITCH BEFORE STARTING A LEVELING OR THE PRINTER WILL TURN OFF DURING THE LEVELING. Notes for nipple and nipple head: I printed the nipples horizontally and separately from its head for extra strength, it may need to be filed down a bit to fit the nipple head as well as the switch body. EQUIPMENT USED • 80 to 90 cm of electrical wire for the bedside lamp (2 wires of 1.5 mm² sheathed in black) • 3 female terminals and one male • 1 hexagonal head screw M8x30 mm • 1 M8x4 mm thick nut • 1 M8 washer • 1 hexagonal head screw M3x10 mm • 1 M3 nut • 1 T-nut M3 (available on thingiverse) • 2 black plastic clamps • Superglue • Shiny black paint • 23 Cable_chain_piece • 2 Cable_chain_piece cable clamps
