Post Mount for Raspberry Pi Box

<p>This print was made to meet a specific need I had, but I thought it would be useful to provide the print as it has some useful design ideas.</p><p>I needed to mount a Raspberry Pi enclosure to a metal post 3" in diameter, so I made this simple adapter which can be zip-tied to the post and provide a flat surface for mounting. My RasPi enclosure has a provision for hanging it on two screw heads, so the adapter includes two screw holes 1" apart for mounting screws.</p><p>The adapter is designed so that it can be printed without supports or infill. &nbsp;With 3 perimeters, the screw holes have sufficient wall thickness that they can be drilled out a bit if necessary. &nbsp;The print is hollow, but has internal ribs build in which both reinforce the print, and provide internal support for the screw hole sections.</p><p>The “waist” on the print makes it easy to use a nylon zip tie to fasten the adapter to a post (see photo).</p><h4>Print Instructions</h4><p>Print in PETG using the emf or gcode files provided; in general&nbsp;</p><ul><li>0.2mm layer height</li><li>3 perimeters</li><li>0% infill</li><li>no supports required</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><h4>CAD</h4><p>The OnShape 3D CAD files for this are here :</p><p><a href="https://cad.onshape.com/documents/c2697c3d67f1839d4ae44395/w/32d14188d9a873692cb60ffa/e/be691bdcfb16eda854548442">https://cad.onshape.com/documents/c2697c3d67f1839d4ae44395/w/32d14188d9a873692cb60ffa/e/be691bdcfb16eda854548442</a></p><p>&nbsp;</p>
