**Update 4/22/2019:** Seth's Bike Hacks is a fantastic YouTube channel that you absolutely need to be following, especially if you're into bike hacks like me. Seth recently posted another amazing video where he shows how you can use valve stem nuts from Presta valves to achieve the same result as this tool. If you're like me, you probably have a hundred or so of those little nuts lying around, making it a much better option. When working on a bike with disc brakes, I often need to remove the brake caliper from the frame or fork, and I usually try to keep the caliper mounting screws and any spacers or washers in place so I don't lose them. In the past, I've used one of my existing spacers, like the 203mm rotor spacer you can see in the second photo, but not everyone has one of those handy. That's why I created a simple tool whose only purpose is to capture the caliper mounting screws and keep spacers and washers from falling out and getting lost while the maintenance is being done. To use it, just have it handy when you're about to take off the brake caliper. As you unscrew the brake caliper from the frame or fork, you can then reinstall it on this holder. You don't need to tighten it down - all you need to do is get a thread or two engaged so it holds the screws in place. I've included provision for an 8x3mm rare earth magnet in the back, so you can stick it to a work stand or toolbox to keep it handy. The 8x3 magnets were purchased to make an extruder spinner for my Prusa printer, and since I only needed one or two but got 100, I've been using those in my designs. They do work well, though. I also added a 1/4" hole in case you (like me) love keeping tools on pegboard. If you don't want a version with the pegboard hole, I've provided an STL without the hole as well. Thanks to Peter Verdone for the reference material on his wiki.
