Being able to slide a piece of paper between the nozzle and print bed is one simple way to ensure the nozzle height is set correctly. Other bed levelers often failed because they fell off under even slight pressure or friction. The post-it note bed leveling tool solves this problem, making bed leveling a breeze and adding a stylish touch to your printer's toolkit! The tool comes in two parts with two finger screws. First, grasp the main body and position the sticky side of the post-it note on the curved section. The sticky adhesive will keep it securely in place. Next, attach the paper holder on top of the post-it note. Finally, grab the two screws and gently press through the post-it note while turning to secure everything tightly. That paper won't budge! To check the bed's levelness, you should feel a small amount of friction as you slide the post-it note between the nozzle's end and print bed. If it can't fit from the front, try sliding it in sideways using the side of the post-it note. If neither method works, your nozzle is too close to the bed! Adjust the bed screws to create a minuscule gap. The idea behind this type of bed leveling is that you should feel a slight resistance between the post-it note, nozzle, and print bed. When you can slide the note in and move it back and forth with some friction, you've achieved the perfect height! As an added bonus, you can draw hair on it and use it as a stick puppet or flip it upside down to pretend it's a desk broom!
