thingiverse
This cutting guide is tailored for use with the frame on the Post-e portable Laser Engraver. Designed around a standard sized ATX PSU, dimensions are intended for quarter-inch acrylic or equivalent material for optimal results. Labels are assigned to both ETCH and CUT runs on this design to be cut using a laser cutter; etch designs, however, can vary freely with creativity! Parts have been carefully arranged to allow most efficient cutting using a 12"x16" cutting bed - feel free to rearrange as necessary to match your specific cutting bed specifications. The model is currently a work in progress. The original project and step-by-step guide can be accessed at http://www.instructables.com/id/Pocket-laser-engraver/?ALLSTEPS **Instructions** Cut or mill out the pieces from your chosen quarter-inch material. Assemble the pieces to match the provided 3D model. Separately, glue the bottom section and top section together; you want to be able to lift off the top housing part for easy electronic part installation.
