Poseable Scout Mech
thingiverse
This is a toy mech that I've designed. I plan to make more of these, as well as more weapons and modular parts. Currently, there are two guns that can be interchanged. To assemble the parts, I used metal wire (about 1 mm in diameter) as pins. The pin holes are actually about 1.877 mm in diameter. I glued the ends of each pin hole to the pins, and allow the inner pieces to move freely about the pin. For the "shoulder joints," I used the "shoulder joint holder" part and glued it into the rectangular slots and over the top of the circular part of the joint. This holds the joint in place while allowing it to rotate with some friction.
