A tribute to the excellent game - just the hand, no wrist/arm/spool/etc. Wanted a poseable desk fidget - to commemorate the difficult journey in beating the game. Plus it was a good opportunity to try some mechanical designs. This is far from 'screen accurate' - it is said that the great craftsman 'Dogen' made many versions to hone the shinobi prosthetic - perhaps this is one of these 'early prototype'. (In the photos you can see I have not 'wrapped' mine - but you are, of course, free to do so). I am by no means a design expert, and there may be copious jank if you try this yourself. I have an SLA printer, and although hypothetically I believe FDM would work, I have no way of testing. The assembly should be somewhat straightforward - there are Japanese kanji characters to help sort out which finger is which, and then the tapered knuckle hinges simply push into the rings within the palm. (To any kanji readers, I apologies for any mistakes). It is designed to snap together, and even with a bit of paint, is still plenty loose and movable - perhaps too lose. Of course, feel free to edit the design / sand the joints to dial in the friction fit if you so choose. I opted to use some butchers twine, as string is visible in the game. It is a bit fiddly, but you can use a hooked wire to pull it through the rear of each finger segment, then tie it off to the fingertip ball joint. Of course, I took inspiration from [luvter's](https://www.thingiverse.com/luvter/designs) great [design](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3665045) - especially the 'rope holder' - but I wanted something slightly different for mine, and wanted to optimize for SLA printing. Thank you to [luvter](https://www.thingiverse.com/luvter/designs)! Designed in blender, and based roughly on my own hand. Note: for anyone unaware, this is _not_ a 'real' prosthetic. For anyone looking to use it as a drawing/art reference, of course feel free - but anatomy was not a consideration for me, just aesthetics, and roughly matching the few closeups from the game. As always, design and remix to your hearts content!
