Peter Vaivada was born on June 29, 1906 in Taurage, Lithuania. He became a renowned sculptor and monumentalist. Peter's career began at the Kaunas Art School from 1928 to 1932. After completing his studies, he worked under the guidance of Vinco Grybas and Juozas Zikaro from 1932 to an unknown year. Since 1930, Vaivada participated in various activities with the Lithuanian artists' association. In 1944, Peter became the executive secretary of the SSR Artists' Association. For over a decade, he held this position until 1956. One notable project that Peter was involved in was creating the National Guard monument in Kaliningrad in 1945. This massive structure took the collective efforts of several artists to complete and featured over 1,200 stone figures. Among his notable works is the sculptural group "Agriculture," which he created in collaboration with Bernard Send. It was unveiled on the Green Bridge in 1952.
