Elena Žalinkevičaitė-Petrauskienė (1900 September 23 - 1986 May 23) was a Lithuanian actress, poet, and playwright. Born in Padustėlio, Dusetos parish, the Russian Empire. She studied ballet at Kaunas Petrov's studio from 1920 to 1922, then attended Anthony Sutkaus' private acting school. She also learned to sing at a music school during this time. From 1920 to 1922, Žalinkevičaitė-Petrauskienė was an actress at the Werewolf Nation theater. In 1922, she began working as a professional theater actress, and in 1941, she joined the State Theatre. Later, she became a Kaunas city theater actress. In 1944, Žalinkevičaitė-Petrauskienė moved to Germany and worked with the Augsburg Lithuanian drama team. During her time in exile, she wrote poems that were published in various periodicals. She also prepared several performances and worked at youth camps. In 1948, Žalinkevičaitė-Petrauskienė returned to Lithuania. Upon her return, she worked as a musical theater actress in Kaunas from 1948 onwards. From 1950 to 1952, she served as a rapporteur for the Folk Song and Dance Ensemble. Later, from 1956 to 1957, Žalinkevičaitė-Petrauskienė was an actress at the SSR State Academic Drama theater. Žalinkevičaitė-Petrauskienė also directed plays for children and young people, creating radio plays as well. She published a book of memories called "Petrauskas' Memories" based on her experiences in the theater.
