Multiple portraits of Chrysippos, a renowned Greek philosopher born around 280 BC and passed away around 207 BC, are on display across various European cultural institutions. This specific sculpture is an exact replica created from the original located at the British Museum in London, which was cast by skilled artisans under the guidance of Brucciani. Identical copies can also be found at The National Archaeological Museum in Naples and another one resides at The British Museum itself.
