The original marble bust can be found on display at the Capitoline/Chiaramonti Museum in Rome, a museum that showcases some of history's most treasured pieces dating back to around 64-40 BC, roughly the same time Julius Caesar was ruling with an iron fist. Many skilled artisans created plaster copies of this iconic work, often adding their own personal touch by engraving Caesar's name on the base - although it remains unconfirmed whether or not it actually belonged to the great leader himself.
