Miletus (Turkey) was discovered in 1903 near a bustling market gate. The archaeological findings from 1905 revealed a treasure trove of marble artifacts dating back around 150 BC. A remarkably preserved head of a young man with idealized facial features has sparked debate about its historical significance. Experts believe the piece may represent a Hellenistic ruler due to the distinctive band in his curly hair, although definitive classification remains elusive. Historians have offered plausible suggestions that it could be an Attalid or Seleucid king. This extraordinary object is part of "Scan The World", a groundbreaking non-profit initiative launched by MyMiniFactory.
