Portrait of a Bearded Man
myminifactory
The identity of this lightly bearded man remains a mystery, but his attire suggests he may have held a position of spiritual authority. The marble that originally depicted him is now on display at the State Museums in Florence, Italy, where it was crafted around 1470. Further reading: Tschudi and Bode's 1888 publication features an image of this marble sculpture as no. 67 on Plate VII. - Planiscig, L., also wrote about Bernardo and Antonio Rossellino in her 1942 book based in Vienna.
