myminifactory
Discovered on the western slope of the Athenian Acropolis, the head was incorporated into a statue. The individual depicted in the portrait is likely to be one of several Hellenistic rulers: Eumenes II, who reigned from 197 to 158 BC, or Ariarathes V Eusebes Philopator, who ruled from 163 to 130 BC, or Mithridates VI, King of Pontus, who dominated from 132 to 63 BC, or his son Ariarathes IX Eusebes Philopator, who held power from 100 to 86 BC.
