Portion Pro tag for replacing the battery

Portion Pro tag for replacing the battery

We have several portion pro pet feeders. They're really great feeders especially so for us because we have a diabetic cat that is on a strict diet. The only drawback is that the collars use batteries that only last about 6 months. The tags are sealed and require destructive measures to open and install a new battery. You can buy a replacement tag from the manufacturer for about $30 ish dollars after tax and shipping. I designed a replacement tag holder that you can print for free. Keep in mind that you will need to buy a replacement battery (CR2032) for a few dollars. The original tags appear to be somewhat waterproof. My design is not waterproof so keep that in mind. The print is designed to be printed in flexible TPU filament. Please see the video for instructions. Enjoy! https://youtu.be/XQj0Oohe1Gg If you don't have a 3D printer and would like to pay someone to print it.... I'm not really interested in printing these for profit myself but there are a bunch of companies online that will print and ship to you. Here's one that I can recommend. https://craftcloud3d.com Download both .STL files then upload them at the craftcloud3d.com website. You will need to apply the following settings. Cad files = drawn in millimeters Filament type = FDM TPU Infill = 100% Color = your choice You will get multiple quotes to print the items and ship to you. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.
