I installed a custom porthole cover on my boat, which allows for a constant flow of fresh air inside while keeping rain out. From within the cabin, I can secure the cover using two strategically placed hooks that ensure it remains tightly sealed. To achieve this, I utilized an M6 bolt and nut combination, but those with access to an M8 drill bit can easily make the necessary adjustments to fit their needs.
