Porter Cable style bushing adapter for Harbor Freight/Task Force Router
thingiverse
I wanted to use the Leigh D4 dovetail jig with my Task Force plunge router (Lowe's used to carry this brand and it turns out that it is identical to the 1 1/2HP Harbor Freight router, Item #67119). The Leigh dovetail jig required Porter Cable style guide bushings, which were costly, but I soon found out that Harbor Freight sells an inexpensive set (https://www.harborfreight.com/9-piece-router-template-guide-set-98361.html). Then I needed to fit the bushings to my router without having to machine a new baseplate. My solution was a drop-in insert using the existing screws that hold the clear vacuum attachment near the center. If you want to continue using the clear plastic vacuum attachment, you will need to purchase longer screws (M5 x 25mm) at your local hardware store. Check to see if you have the same router as either of these. It's likely that it's being sold under other names as well: https://www.lowes.com/pd/Task-Force-Variable-Speed-Plunge-Corded-Router-with-Table/3265503 and https://www.harborfreight.com/1-1-2-half-hp-variable-speed-plunge-router-67119.html.
