Porter Cable OmniJig Half Blind Alignment Tool

A specialized tool for crafting 1/2" Half Blind joints with precision on the Porter Cable 5117 or 7117 OmniJig. The main challenge lies in its alignment mechanism, which targets the second finger instead of the first, but this is a minor inconvenience. Insert the tool into the second finger and then move your top and side stops to position them correctly before clamping them down tightly. Adjust the template so that it aligns perfectly with the matching finger guide on the tool. Although I cannot guarantee 100% accuracy in template depth, this setup should get you very close. As always, test cuts are necessary to ensure everything is properly calibrated. Using this tool significantly reduces alignment time, especially when printing two copies for both sides. It is designed for use on both right and left sides of the OmniJig.
