I'm pleased with how consistent the dose comes out (within a gram, regardless of the roast level). It's easily loaded into the grinder, and I've had this prototype for several years now. I think it's working well enough after all that time. The capacity varies depending on the roast, holding between 15-18 grams when filled to the top. The center insert is designed to fit snugly in place, preventing beans from pouring out through the central hole while filling the cup. This also makes it easy to index with the grinder for a smooth transfer.
