Portal Sentry Turret Desk Lamp Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .3mm Infill: 20% Notes: I attached this lamp to my workbench, and it lights up a big area around it. The printed part itself was smooth to print but requires some post processing to get it looking really good, the screws need tapping in place so they don't fall out during assembly, and if you use longer screws like i did make sure the threads on them are coated with glue or you might strip them during installation; I had fun making this lamp and will consider doing another one for my workshop soon. The eye of the sentry is just a 1" diameter clear acrylic disc covered in red translucent film which glows through pretty nice and i simply glued it in place using E6000. You can opt to use shorter screws but that makes for more glue involved, or longer ones that don't require so much of it, I think I'll do the same as before. For the light source itself I chose a philips 40w, soft white, and they are really nice LEDs - bought them at Home depot too.
