Portal Radio
thingiverse
Here's a re-scaled version of Cerb's original Portal radio found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1431366. It was scaled to 361.27% to make for a desktop-sized portal radio. All the necessary components for the small LED version have been removed, including the battery holder and everything has been cut out of the base. The button has also been reworked. The idea is that this version includes a light sensor in its button, which starts playing the Portal radio theme as soon as someone switches on the light in the room where it's residing. It also illuminates while it plays the file and has a sanity-protection feature, or "cooldown", to prevent it from being triggered too fast after each play of the MP3. A video can be seen here: https://www.facebook.com/urikals.black.arts/videos/926672837672730/. To print this project, you'll need the following materials: * PLA for the base and button * 0.4 mm nozzle * Support material for the body You'll also need to print these parts and gather the necessary components: * 1x JQ6500-16P MP3 player * 1x ATTiny85 Microcontroller * 1x Micro USB Port Breakout board * LEDs (2x White, 1x Blue) * BC550 Transistor * Resistors You'll need to connect the components as shown in the schematics graphic.
