This is a Portal Gun replica from Rick & Morty, created for a Rick Sanchez costume. It was modeled up and printed with a 50mm pumpkin/jack-o-lantern light flashing to represent the portal's glow. Print Settings: Rafts: Not used Supports: Utilized to ensure structural integrity Resolution: Set to 0.2mm for precision Infill: Varied from 10% for details and 3-5 shells/perimeters Material: PLA was chosen for all prints. A crucial tip is to print the "light dome" section using translucent material with single-perimeter settings, resulting in maximum transparency. Assembly Post-printing requires a few essential steps: 1. Use hot glue or your preferred adhesive to assemble the pieces. 2. Some minor sanding might be necessary for holes, depending on printer settings and supports used. 3. Drill a precise hole at the intersection of the handle and body for the black knob's placement. 4. Finally, color in the C-137 display on the main body with paint or a marker.
