Portafilter Outlet 3/8"
prusaprinters
Due to the surprising success of my portafilter spout that just doesn't splash or sputter I've been asked to adapt this design to another espresso maker:The Lelit Anita. Since the thread is a "standard" 3/8" screw it's supposed to fit other models too. Material-wise I recommend some high-temp food-grade plastic such as Colorfabb HT. Here I used ONE PET filament because I've already had good long-term experience on this exact application. There's a chance of nasty stuff to leach out at 100°C, but I don't think that will happen on a relevant level since the contact time for espresso is very short. Otherwise you'd be doing it wrong and that extra plasticizer serves you right. (I haven't tested this design since I don't own this espresso machine, but the user - who also sent me the pictures - says it fits like a glove. Or a mitten. Whatever.) Print Settings Printer Brand: Wanhao Printer: Duplicator9 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 150 Infill: 100 Filament: Filamentive ONE PET natural Notes: No support needed. Since the spout will be under a lot of stress due to hot/cold cycling, I recommend printing hot and using no/minimal fan for good layer bonding. To prevent melting the last tiny tip of the outlet, printing 2 at once is an effective counter-measure. Category: Kitchen & Dining
