So I have a Delonghi Dedica EC685 coffee machine. I have no way to hit the porta filter against a hard surface in order to remove the coffee like a barista does. My hands don't work so good either. A knife works but is not practical. Therefore I designed the following device. You can push it at any angle into the porta filter to half the coffee. The coffee then easily falls out into our recycle bin. The coffee can be minutes, hours or days old, no matter how hard it got, this device works flawlessly. Once you push the device into the coffee, you give it a slight spin and it removes all coffee. It's designed that it can be printed without supports. The end is rounded so it is comfy to push. It does not push or destroy the small latch in the porta filter net.
