PORTABLE TWIN TOOTH BRUSH CHARGER

<p>Whenever we are travelling we face the dilemma of which of us is going to charge his/her toothbrush with the one charger we always pack.</p><p>So I made this one. &nbsp;It's the smallest possible container for the two standard chargers and the assembly is held together with a single screw.</p><p><strong>NOTE 1</strong> - &nbsp;the electrical work in splicing the two power packs together is very straight forward, however it is still going to be plugged into mains power - DO NOT ATTEMPT TO MODIFY THE CHARGING CABLE if you are in any way unsure of what you are doing (or if it is illegal to do so in your country of course). &nbsp; Either get someone (like a friendly electrician) to help, OR use the “Twin Cable” version of the print which does not require any electrical work, but you'll probably have to carry a double adapter with you.<br><br><strong>NOTE 2 </strong>- I have modelled a blank base as an alternative to two chargers, so that two brushes can be mounted with a single charger and swapped as required. &nbsp; I haven't printed a test piece and will upload an STL as soon as I have done so. &nbsp;If you are desperate to proceed on that basis, send me a message and I'll move that up the print queue a bit!<br>&nbsp;</p><p>The chargers are a very precise fit, but if there are minor differences in manufacture or printer setup, the print can be slightly adjusted with careful application of heat to the shaped flanges for an exact fit - a hair dryer works well in this role. &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>I will be adding a very thin smear of bathroom silicone before inserting the charger bodies for the final time, just to eliminate any chance of water entering from above.<br><br>Whether wiring two into one or using dual cables I recommend capturing the cables with a zip tie as shown to eliminate any chance of strain in the course of use.</p><p>The attached .3mf file has a colour change in the lid at 3mm height. &nbsp;To make the colours as shown print the base and the first layers of the top in the same colour and complete the top print in a complimentary colour.</p>
