Portable Telephone
sketchfab
Miners in 1955 relied on this portable phone to send urgent signals for help. Equipped with a cable connection, the phone allowed miners to link up with the network or trigger an emergency signal by turning a knob that produced a loud "woof woof" sound warning others of their distress. This vital device is now housed at the Nederlands Mijnmuseum in Heerlen, Limburg. Yuen Fei and Li are credited with its creation.
