Portable Standing Desk (Chromebook)

A Chromebook case made to be a portable standing desk. The purpose behind a standing desk is to prevent students from sitting down all day, by creating a 3d printable and portable standing desk it allows students to have access to a cheaper and easier to install standing desk. This product can help students with virtual learning by not restricting their freedom of movement like how sitting would. Furthermore, it can increase focus because the student is not in as relaxed a position as sitting is. This project did however come with a few issues, such as creating a universal fastener which could be used for both the sticks and on the case itself as well as the issues of size and material cost. Originally the design was too large for an ordinary printer and needed to be broken into two pieces, as well as cut down with holes to reduce material cost. If I could redesign this I would increase the size of the holes and add a locking mechanism. 3d printing could strengthen my design by making it cheaper and easier to replace part's that break or get lost.
