Portable Sacrament tray kit
thingiverse
I designed this little kit specifically for use at home during the COVID-19 pandemic. When our bishop announced that all church meetings would be canceled and we could administer sacrament in our homes, I quickly got to work on creating this design. The kit is the perfect size for my family's needs, but it's also great for taking on the go. The upper and lower plates clip together securely, ensuring that everything stays inside even if you drop it. At the time of designing, I didn't have access to standard disposable sacrament tray cups, so I created my own. Unfortunately, this means that the water tray insert might not fit perfectly with disposable cups. I'd love to see how your makes turn out! Please send me photos of your creations. This project was a labor of love, and you're free to make these for your families or friends - just remember, non-commercial use only. UPDATE: I've had some requests for a larger tray, so now there are two versions available: one with 6 cups and another with 8. I've made some slight improvements to the cup design and the handle interface, as well as re-sized the upper and lower trays to make them easier to detach from each other.
