Portable Power Supply

Portable Power Supply

thingiverse

This project began when I needed a portable power supply that could be adjusted on the fly. Nothing complicated, just an adjustable voltage supply to test things easily. I decided to use some LM2596 modules since I had a few lying around and wanted two separate outputs. All the parts used for this project are listed in the description with links to where they were purchased. The 2 LM2596 modules had their potentiometers removed and replaced with external ones. This supply is designed to run on any battery (max voltage output is the voltage of the battery - 1.5V). I used a 2-cell LiPo pack for testing. A YouTube video shows this project being built from start to finish. The case is made from PETG, and it has a smooth finish. The power button was added later, as it wasn't part of the original design.
