Portable paint Station Part B (Paint Holder)
thingiverse
I need a versatile painting station that allows me to work efficiently on my miniatures and dioramas. I use this setup on a tv tray, and when finished, I pick up the whole thing and store it in a shelf in the closet. Part A is the paint brush holder with a detachable water container. It measures 6 1/8” wide x 5 ½” deep x 3” high. This part holds paintbrushes, glue, and other miscellaneous items, and features a removable water cup. I attached a few magnets to the bottom, so it stays in place on the tray. Portable Paint Station Part B (Paint Holder) Part B is the paint bottle holder, measuring 10 ¾” wide x 2 ½” deep x 5 5/8” high. It can hold up to 27 Vallejo-style dropper bottles upright or inverted. This part accommodates bottles from Army Painter, Reaper, and Vallejo brands, though I haven't tested it with Scale 75 or Warcolours yet. I attached a few magnets to the bottom, so it stays stable. For those interested in the setup's other components, they include: 1. A Wilton non-stick baking pan measuring 21” x 15”, available on Amazon for $11.00. 2. Applied Magnets rare earth magnet discs, each 1.26” in diameter and 1/8” thick, sold in packs of ten for $12.00 on Amazon. 3. A Masterson Sta-wet palette measuring 8 ½” x 7” x 1”, available on Amazon for $12.00. I used two-part epoxy to secure the magnets, as super glue didn't work effectively.
