Portable Laptop Stand

Portable Laptop Stand

thingiverse

I needed a laptop stand for my 15" Retina MacBook Pro that wouldn't occupy my entire 200x200x180 build volume, take over 10 hours, or require any additional hardware. I also needed it to be portable. This design should fit any Apple Laptop or similar sized computers, and I've included the original Fusion 360 models as well as STEP files if you want to modify it for your particular machine. Print Settings: Printer: Wanhao i3 V2.1 (MonoPrice Maker Select) Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 mm Layer height Infill: 15%-30% Notes: The supports are only used in the joint areas, so they take very little time and all parts should be positioned flat side down. Printing one section of the "X" shape at a time, I was able to complete the entire stand in about 4 hours. I initially used PLA for the first print, thinking I would need to adjust the tolerances and intending to print the final version in ABS or InnoPET, but the first print turned out perfectly and it appears that the ESUN PLA+ is more than strong enough for this stand to work as is.
