Portable folding LED Downlight Stand

Create a compact LED floodlight using spare parts! This project requires a low wattage LED downlight, a 16mm dowel rod (350mm long), a 12V battery (preferably a 3S lipo with a low voltage buzzer on the balance plug), and cable to connect the downlight to the battery. Additionally, you'll need non-printed parts such as M4 nuts, screws of varying lengths, and a wood screw. As for printed parts, you'll require a Light Tower Base, Light Tower Nut, three Light Tower Legs, and a Light Tower Holder and Hinge (optional). Start by jamming the dowel rod into the base as tightly as possible, ensuring that the hole is tapped to facilitate easy insertion. For the legs, push one into each of the designated holes with the tapered section facing outward for stability. Secure each leg in place using an M4 nut and a 25mm M4 screw. Repeat this process for all three legs. Next, screw the Light Tower Nut onto the base with the legs folded down. You'll notice that the legs will remain in this position due to the clever design. Move on to insert two final M4 nuts into the lower part of the downlight holder and secure them using 20mm M4 screws. Place the downlight into the upper half of the downlight holder, followed by attaching the cable to the pole with cable ties for easy rotation. Finally, attach the upper half of the downlight holder to the lower half and screw the holder onto the dowel rod with a wood screw. If you desire more space in the downlight holder, consider printing the 'holder only' STL file instead of the one provided in the original instructions. And while this project uses OpenSCAD code for some parts, there is currently no accessible code available for recreation purposes. However, if there is sufficient demand, the creator may revisit and update the code accordingly.
