This CNC Washer is designed for transportation by pickup or SUV to a retail store, where it can be moved into the store using power units like Purpleline Enduro or E-go Titanium Quad. To operate the washer, connect the water line from a hot water source to the wet rack and slide the hitch out of the way. The unit features collapsible shelving for placing produce in tubs, which are then slid onto an adjustable bridge and placed on the shelving. After washing, the shelving is removed and stored within the washer while the door closes with a custom-designed sheet metal bracket. The washer has six independent washers controlled by a programmed CNC control unit. There are two water nozzles facing each other, spraying from both sides of the shelving, moving back and forth with high pressure. The height and length controls enable adjustments according to shelf size. Made of aluminum frame and polycarbonate shell, internal parts like carriages are made of delrin with connecting parts in stainless steel. Timing belts are used instead of stainless steel ball screws for cost efficiency. The washer does not require NSF certification, as confirmed by local Food Safety authorities. The design is recommended to be done using Inventor instead of Catia V5 due to its ease of use. The file is compatible with Catia V5 2016 or later and saved under an educational license. It consists of 1098 parts and requires approximately 2GB RAM for the CNEXT.exe rendering in Fusion 360. Feel free to share your thoughts on this design.
