In 2012, Solidworks introduced a concept which was not intended as a high precision .0005 inch error CNC machine. Instead, it serves for transportation to construction sites and flattening table and bench tops. The design allows easy assembly and disassembly, making it convenient to transport using a pickup truck. Although the model does not include drive belts or main gantry motion belt mounts, it provides enough information to grasp the idea. The Z-axis linear actuator is a Newmark Systems D-slide.
