Authors are: Giuseppe Giglia, Giuditta Gambino, Pierangelo Sardo & Giuseppe Ferraro (Dept BIND, University of Palermo) This portable thermostatic bath is designed to maintain a constant temperature for biological samples over a short period. Hardware Requirements: - 1 x Arduino Uno board - 1 x prototyping board (any size that fits in the space) - 1 x prototyping board measuring 80 mm x 20 mm - 1 x 100 KOhm thermistor (a 3D printer thermistor will suffice) - 1 x TIP 120 transistor - 1 x 100 KOhm resistor - 1 x 10 Ohm resistor - 12 x 330 Ohm resistors - 1 x 9V battery - wires and soldering tools To assemble the thermistor, follow these tutorials: http://www.circuitbasics.com/arduino-thermistor-temperature-sensor-tutorial/ To build the heater part, use these instructions: https://www.alanzucconi.com/2016/08/02/arduino-heater-1/ Combine the two Arduino codes to achieve the desired performance.
